Our Kapton Polyimide Tape, also known as Gold Finger Tape, features a high-temperature polyimide film coated on one side with a high-performance silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Available in various mil thicknesses, sizes, and shapes—including rolls, dots, squares, and sheets—it is known for its strong adhesion and distinctive golden-amber color. The tape maintains excellent physical, mechanical, and electrical properties across a wide temperature range, with continuous use up to 500°F (260°C) and short-term exposure over 700°F (371°C). Ideal for electrical insulation, it protects electronics and printed circuit boards during high-temperature fabrication, assembly, and 3D printing.
