3M 681 Tape is an alternative to the discontinued 3M 610, offering an updated appearance while maintaining the original performance. Featuring a 2.4 mil (0.061 mm) transparent UPVC film backing with a rubber adhesive, it provides excellent moisture and chemical resistance, strong initial tack, and reliable adhesion to a wide range of materials, including difficult-to-bond plastics.
It is widely used for ink adhesion testing on printed circuit boards and screen-printed plastic surfaces, as well as temporary holding, light-duty carton sealing, bag sealing, and attachment applications.
