GBS Polyester Film Tape is a flexible yet stable material that provides surface protection and electrical insulation for powder coating and high temperature working environment. Thickness ranges from 50um to 100um, and the most typical color is green, blue and red. As it features excellent heat resistance with long operation temperature around 180℃, it’s usually used acts as plating, anodization and powder coating masking tape. It can be also used as wrapping and electrical insulation for battery, capacitor or transformer, also in all kinds of applications where a resistant temporary protection is required.
Precision die cutting is available, and customization of different adhesive solution on PET film is provided as well, like silicone adhesive, high temperature acrylic adhesive or high temperature rubber adhesive as per requirements.

Reliable Performance: High performance silicone pressure sensitive adhesive makes it over a wide temperature range (-73°C to 220°C.) , Chemical solvent resistance and anti-corrosion, and electrical insulation. Besides, it’s easy to peel off without residue.

Compared to polyimide film tape, polyester film tape has better balance between performance and cost. Our polyester tape functions well in masking for powder coating to provide sharp paint lines. It can be removed cleanly without leaving residue from most surfaces. With good chemical resistance, this tape works effectively in chemical processes and demanding work conditions, such as anodizing. Polyester tape provides good masking in electronics, aerospace and automotive industries, and it’s often die cut in to round discs with wishbone handle to help workers easily attach the surface and remove quickly and cleanly after fabrication.
