Rogers Poron 4790-92 is a type of extra soft and slow rebound with very low closure force polyurethane foam material. The thickness ranges from 0.21″ to 0.5″ (0.53 mm to 12.7 mm), and density ranges from 144 to 480kg/m3 (9-30lb/ft3). It’s long lasting and durable and is conformable yet returns to its original shape, which allows for long-term performance. With the features of extra soft and slow rebound, Poron 4790-92 material provides excellent protection for lower energy impacts, and it’s usually used as gap filling or sealing purpose in various industries like battery&cushion pads, LCD Display protection, Automotive Interiors and Exteriors gap filling, Aircraft and Railcar Sound Blocking & Absorption, etc. This material can be laminated with 3M adhesive tapes like 3M 467, 3M9495LE and die cut into custom shape size for easily application.
