Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 3M 79 is a printable glass cloth insulating tape coated with an electrical-grade acrylic adhesive on one side, specifically designed for banding and strapping applications. This white tape is 7 mils (0.178 mm) thick, rated for 600V, UL Listed, and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant. It withstands a temperature range of 32 to 302°F (0 to 150°C). The tape provides insulation and solvent-resistant protection, making it ideal for use as coil cover, anchor, banding, and core, layer, and crossover insulation. 3M 79 is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets, and custom shapes.
