3M 471 Vinyl Tape is a conformable colored tape made from vinyl backing with rubber adhesive. It resists abrasion, solvents, and moisture, ensuring long-lasting performance even in challenging environments. The rubber adhesive offers a strong bond to rough, irregular, curved, and convex surfaces, allowing for clean removal without leaving any residue. This makes it ideal for many applications, including lane and safety markings, color coding, abrasion protection, masking, sealing, splicing, and other general-purpose uses. Similar to 3M 471, 3M 766 is also a vinyl marking tape and is available as well.
