3M 27 Glass Cloth Electrical Tape is a 7 mil woven insulating tape with a pressure-sensitive rubber thermosetting adhesive. This specially formulated adhesive offers excellent corrosion protection, making it ideal for 600-volt dry applications that require high mechanical strength and resistance to elevated temperatures. The tape is edge-tear resistant, conformable, and abrasion-resistant, and it is UL Recognized. Commonly used for heat-stable insulation in furnace and oven controls, motor leads, and switches, it is also an excellent choice for coil covers, anchoring, banding, and as core, layer, and crossover insulation.
