Our Skived PTFE film tape features a conformable skived polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film backing, coated with a silicone adhesive that provides exceptional heat resistance. It offers impressive properties such as heat and chemical resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and non-stick capabilities. Commonly used in electrical applications like harness wraps, coil separators, and transformers for insulation and heat resistance. In mechanical applications, it’s ideal for heat sealing bars, labeling machine pressure pads, anti-friction devices, and aircraft mold release, where high temperature performance and maximum slip are essential.
